Job summary

Staff Financial Group is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily production, supervising 30-80 hourly team members and ensuring staffing, throughput and shift performance align with the production schedule.

You will coach and train crew, coordinate with maintenance, quality, sanitation and shipping, and drive improvements in downtime and waste while reporting results to plant leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in production strongly preferred.
• One or more years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, ideally leading a large hourly workforce.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production: assign and balance labor, monitor line speed and downtime, direct startups, changeovers, allergen transitions and shutdowns.
• Verify temperatures, freezer exit temps, and product weights are run and recorded to spec.
• Maintain separation between raw and RTE areas and upscale off-spec product to QA.
• Coach, train and cross-train crew and handle performance conversations with HR.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, sanitation and shipping to keep lines running.
• Drive continuous improvement by cutting downtime, giveaways, waste and changeover time.
• Complete shift documentation and report results to plant leadership.

About the Role

Lead daily production of the facility. You’ll supervise 30-80 hourly team members and be accountable for staffing, throughput, yield, and shift performance against the production schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Run daily production: assign and balance labor, monitor line speed and downtime, and direct startups, changeovers, allergen transitions, and shutdowns
• Verify temperatures, freezer exit temps, and product weights are run and recorded to spec

What We’re Looking For

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems
• High school diploma or GED

Schedule & Physical Requirements

• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Ability to walk the production floor for long periods, climb stairs, ladders, and platforms, and lift up to 25 lbs
