Job summary

MANN+HUMMEL Fayetteville is seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to manage daily operations on an assigned shift within the stamping production zone. You will ensure alignment with the production plan, uphold quality standards, and foster a safe, efficient work environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of leadership in manufacturing, strong knowledge of lean principles, and experience with stamping.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Bachelor Degree in technical or business education preferred.
• 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing operations or similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all safety policies.
• Ensure compliance with quality requirements and lead quality improvement initiatives to achieve zero defects.
• Lead and initiate process improvement activities and cross-functional teams to meet goals.

Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced production Supervisor to manage and oversee the daily operations Of an assigned shift within Our M+H production zone. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production activities align with the production plan, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe and efficient work environment

Main Tasks

• Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all safety policies.
• Ensure compliance with quality requirements and lead quality improvement initiatives to achieve zero defects both internally and externally.
• Lead and initiate process improvement activities and improvement teams to ensure achievement Of goals and objectives.
• Develop employees toward the attainment Of autonomous work tear-ns.
• Provide clear communication at levels Of the organization, from the operations workforce to senior management.
• Assist in the development and execution of plant strategy. Ensure the implementation of sustainable improvements.
• Use data to analyze performance and develop and implement action plans to address issues.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams in support of continuous improvement activities.

Experience

Education and Experience:

• HS Diploma or Bachelor S Degree in technical or business education preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in automotive manufacturing operations or any other manufactuing industry.
• 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with Visual Manufacturing, including KanBan, Takt Time, and Visual Work Instructions preferred.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (Takt/One piece flow/PulU5S).
• Familiarity with TS 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements is preferred.
• Experience with metal Stamping preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage formulas, spreadsheets, and use Microsoft Word.
• Self-starter with a disciplined approach to work.
