Job summary

Safecor Health in Columbus, OH, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead the Production Department ensuring safe, accurate, and timely medication packaging. You will supervise packaging technicians, uphold FDA/cGMP standards, and partner with Quality to ensure label accuracy and documentation.

Ideal candidates have hands-on leadership in a regulated manufacturing setting, experience supervising at least five team members, and a track record of coaching and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical environment.
• Leadership of at least five team members preferred.
• Understanding of FDA and cGMP regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting ability with mechanical packaging equipment.
• Organized, accurate, reliable, and efficient.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure packaging technicians consistently meet daily production and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, OSHA-compliant work environment.
• Partner with Quality to ensure label accuracy, finished product review, and regulatory compliance.
• Respond promptly to customer needs, including repackaging requirements.
• Ensure all labels and documentation are accurate and compliant.
• Assign daily production responsibilities and oversee achievement of goals.
• Coach and develop new employees and provide performance feedback.

As the Production Supervisor, you will:

• Ensure packaging technicians consistently meet daily production and quality standards
• Maintain a safe, OSHA-compliant work environment
• Partner closely with Quality to ensure label accuracy, finished product review, and regulatory compliance
• Respond promptly to customer needs, including repackaging requirements
• Ensure all labels and documentation are accurate and compliant

You will play a critical role in protecting patient safety through strong oversight and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Has experience in operations, manufacturing, or a pharmaceutical environment
• Has previous supervisory or lead technician experience (minimum leadership of 5 team members preferred)
• Understands FDA and cGMP regulatory requirements
• Demonstrates strong troubleshooting ability with mechanical packaging equipment
• Is organized, accurate, reliable, and efficient
• Can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Communicates effectively and builds strong, engaged teams

High School Diploma or GED required. Pharmaceutical packaging experience preferred.
