Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor has the primary responsibility for protecting the food by conducting production procedures and documentation to meet all regulatory, customer and company requirements. Key Accountabilities: The Production Supervisor will report to the Production Manager. They will carry out the day to day supervision of the employee on the production line. This includes ensuring adherence to all safety, food safety, and production guidelines set forth the company, customers, governmental agencies, and auditing bodies.

salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 6:30 AM - 3 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities
  • Organize and supervise the operations and work practices throughout their shift, ensuring safety standards, performance standards, and customer specifications are met.
  • Investigates and document safety incidents, identifies corrective action and make recommendations.
  • Process paperwork related to daily production output.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with policies, procedures, and government regulations.
  • Conduct regular shift meetings to discuss general work related topics.
  • Process employee payroll.
  • Communicate with other departments in the bakery to address issues and maintain/elevate standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Conduct on the job, monthly, and annual training for employees.
  • Resolve production opportunities as they arise.
  • Prioritize daily workload
  • Email required daily shift reports
  • Complete all daily paperwork including production, material and labor reports for shift worked
  • Maintain and Develop personel
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain continuous improvement projects
