This position partners closely with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives, foster a positive work environment, and achieve production goals.This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels at coaching teams, solving problems, and maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence.**What You'll Do*** Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.* Perform quality checks on equipment, processes, and work areas to ensure customer and quality standards are met.* Develop and manage employee work schedules to achieve production and operational goals.* Delegate responsibilities and provide direction to team members to ensure efficient workflow.* Train, cross-train, evaluate, and develop employees while providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback.* Initiate and support disciplinary actions when necessary in accordance with company policies.* Monitor and supervise cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.* Generate and review daily operational reports to ensure shift continuity and identify opportunities for improvement.* Identify, communicate, and escalate maintenance concerns to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.* Collaborate with the Quality Department to establish, maintain, and improve quality standards.* Develop and implement action plans to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall plant performance.* Document injuries, investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions, and follow up to ensure a safe work environment.* Participate in hiring activities and support employee onboarding, coaching, development, and performance management.* Review and recommend personnel actions for approval.* Perform other duties as assigned.* Maintain regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance.**Who You Are****Education & Experience*** Associate degree with an emphasis in Management, Supervision, Business, or a related field preferred.* Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.**Knowledge, Skills & Competencies*** Working knowledge of manufacturing and warehouse systems, including MES, SAP, or similar platforms.* Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.* Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.* Effective time management and organizational skills.* Ability to build productive working relationships and foster teamwork across departments.* Strong coaching and employee development skills.* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.**Physical Abilities*** Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility as needed.* Ability to respond to operational issues across production and warehouse areas.* Ability to perform additional physical activities required to support plant operations.**What You'll Get**Zekelman Industries offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits, including low-cost, high-quality medical and dental coverage.
