Job Description

As the Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) you will have the opportunity to lead operational activities in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards to achieve established production schedules and desired quality levels in a safe manner. Schedule: This is a second shift position. Typical work schedule is 1:00pm-10:00pm (Monday-Friday)

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily activities of associates, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Champion safety and environmental initiatives to promote a secure workplace.
  • Develop and train associates, empowering them to excel in their roles.
  • Maintain a strong emphasis on quality and customer service excellence.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the team.
  • Act as a liaison between departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Assist in the successful launch of new products.
  • Manage resources effectively to achieve departmental goals.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures consistently.
  • Lead and mentor associates, promoting teamwork and growth in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years experience
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Hands-on leader with sense of urgency
  • Excellent coaching and teambuilding skills
  • Great problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience implementing lean initiatives and cost reduction skills
  • Experience with E21 or similar ERP system preferred
  • Understanding of the daily scheduling process preferred
  • Strong ability to drive change

Additional Information

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $63,000 USD - $95,700 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
