Job summary

Rockline Industries in Booneville, AR, seeks a Production Supervisor for G‑Shift (5:45PM–6:00AM). The role emphasizes safety, quality, and leadership of direct reports in a lean manufacturing environment.

Expect 3–4 workdays per week with varying shifts and comprehensive benefits. The supervisor will manage performance, coordinate training, and ensure production targets are met while maintaining compliance with GMP and FDA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills required.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and SPC/SQC concepts preferred.
• Understanding of GMP, FDA regulations and related guidelines.
• Proficiency with PC software including Microsoft Office and JD Edwards.
• Ability to train, coach and develop staff and manage performance.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work shifts.
• Independent work style with team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production rates and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Manage direct reports including coaching, training schedules, probation reviews, and wage progressions.
• Communicate priorities and information to team and other functions through meetings and updates.
• Uphold safety and quality culture across the shift.
• Staff full-time and temporary associates effectively.
• Track shift metrics and maintain accurate data (output, waste, downtime).
• Troubleshoot equipment and guide associates when issues arise.

Essential Accountabilities

• Execute business processes such as maintain production rates, adhere to policy and procedures expectations, execute action plans tied to manufacturing strategies.
• Performance management of direct reports including one-on-ones, manage training schedule, probationary reviews, level advancements, development plans and disciplinary documentation.
• Communicate business priorities, strategy, and information from emails, via Process Based Leadership meetings or daily start-up meetings to team and other functional areas.
• Ensure safety & quality culture is sustained.
• Managing & maintaining staffing of full-time and temporary associates.
• Accountable for metrics tied to their work center scorecard. Ensure accuracy of shift data (output, labor waste, downtime.)
• Build familiarity with converting equipment to be able to help guide associates with troubleshooting & problem solving when equipment is not running properly.
• Ensure work orders are properly closed, entering hour and quantities, lot of the day.
• Investigate/document accident reports (work with Safety Coordinator). Document near miss opportunities.
• Fill in for Asset Leader in their absence as assigned or necessary.

Required Skills
