Job summary

iNRCORE Group is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Beltsville, MD facility. This role oversees daily production operations, ensures safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and coordinates with Engineering and Quality.

The supervisor guides staffing, training, and performance, with hands-on support only when necessary to stabilize production flow. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in manufacturing, prior leadership, and a solid grasp of production processes and quality standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Assign work, balance labor across production lines, and ensure schedules are met.
  • Monitor employee performance, provide coaching, feedback, and development support.
  • Ensure accuracy of travelers, work instructions, quality records, and system entries.
  • Conduct daily floor walks to monitor workflow, identify constraints, and ensure standard compliance.
  • Partner with Quality and Engineering to resolve nonconformances and corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean manufacturing and 5S.
  • Manage attendance, timekeeping, and basic administrative responsibilities for the team.
  • Lead daily production meetings and communicate priorities and changes.
  • Ensure employees are trained and qualified for assigned tasks.
  • Provide hands-on support only when needed to resolve issues or stabilize flow.

We currently have an opening for Production Supervisor in our TTE Faciality, located in Beltsville, MD. This position is critical to the success of manufacturing operations and is responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets are met. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with manufacturing experience who can manage teams, drive accountability, and support continuous improvement efforts.

Details Of The Role

The position of Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations for a designated production area, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are consistently met. This role manages staffing, workflow, training, and performance while coordinating closely with Engineering, Quality, Materials, and leadership teams. The Production Supervisor is not primarily a hands‑on production role but may assist during critical issues, training, or workflow bottlenecks.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Assign work, balance labor across production lines, and ensure production schedules are met.
  • Monitor employee performance, provide coaching, feedback, and support development.
  • Ensure accuracy of documentation including travelers, work instructions, quality records, and system entries.
  • Conduct daily floor walks to monitor workflow, identify constraints, and ensure standard compliance.
  • Partner with Quality and Engineering to resolve nonconformances, process deviations, and corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean manufacturing, 5S, and waste reduction efforts.
  • Manage attendance, timekeeping, and basic administrative responsibilities for the team.
  • Lead daily production meetings and communicate priorities, updates, and operational changes.
  • Ensure employees are properly trained and qualified for assigned tasks.
  • Provide hands‑on support only when needed to resolve issues or stabilize production flow.
Qualifying Attributes And Skills
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in manufacturing or production operations.
  • Prior leadership experience or demonstrated readiness for a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, equipment, and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience supervising manufacturing teams.
  • IPC certification or Lean/technical training certifications.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees effectively.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent walking and standing on the production floor.
  • Ability to lift up to 30–40 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to work around machinery, solder, epoxy, chemicals, and electrical test equipment.
