Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Production Supervisor at our Lumber mill located in Albany, GA. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading a wood products production team of 15-20 employees to work injury-free/incident free in a continuous manufacturing environment consistent with our Principle-Based Management philosophy and framework. The Production Supervisor is also responsible for supervising and coordinating production efforts that result in sustained improvement in all associated work processes including environmental, health & safety (EHS) compliance, reliability, quality, production, and costs.
Established in 2020, Albany Lumber has grown into a dynamic operation powered by a team of approximately 150 skilled individuals. Using the industry's latest technology, Albany Lumber receives approximately 180 log trucks a day and can produce approximately 300 million board feet of lumber each year. The company produces a diverse range of high-quality lumber products, including 2O4 and 2O6 boards essential to modern construction. Each piece begins with sustainably harvested Southern yellow pine.
