Position Summary

The Production Summer Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the production of concise training videos designed to instruct employees on the specific tasks, methods of execution, and the essential components of each task. This role will contribute to a broader initiative aimed at developing comprehensive training materials for the workforce. Additionally, the assistant shall support the creation or editing of supplementary training resources as required by the project leader.

  • Duration: 3 months (June-August 2025)
  • Hours/shift: Monday-Thursday 6 AM-4:30 PM
What You'll Do as a Production Summer Assistant
  • Assist with the evaluations of training materials, engage in presentations, take meeting and project notes, and help with recording training videos for future references.
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of training materials, ensuring clarity, engagement, and effectiveness for the intended audience.
  • Undertake additional assignments as necessary, which may vary based on the availability of time and resources.
  • Engage in practical tasks that include light lifting, organizing materials, cleaning workspaces, and performing various miscellaneous duties to support team operations.
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

Required:

  • Must possess a High School Diploma or a General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
  • Actively enrolled in a college/university program pursuing a bachelor’s or associate's degree.
  • Proficiency in personal computers and related software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new technology and tools as needed.

Preferred:

  • A minimum of one year of relevant work experience, ideally in an office environment or an administrative support role. This experience should include familiarity with standard office procedures and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Basic experience in operating and maintaining video equipment, such as cameras, microphones, and editing software.

  • Has excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Displays strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
