Job Summary

The Production Staff - Assembler performs a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies and subassemblies using hand tools, torque drivers, and computer systems. The role follows established methods and sequences to perform wiring, component installation, board installation, and cable harnessing in accordance with work instructions and quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies and subassemblies using hand tools, torque drivers, and computer systems.
• Follow methods and sequence of operations for wiring, component installation, board installation, and cable harnessing.
• Utilize the HSL ERP system (CORE) to complete daily production activities.
• Use provided materials and tools to complete assemblies or subassemblies accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect and check quality at each step of the assembly process to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Complete assigned tasks within takt time to ensure efficient product flow.
• Work safely and follow all HSL and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Must be able to maintain regular attendance.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience, or equivalent, in electronic assembly in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and ERP system information.
• Manual dexterity to manipulate tools and small parts.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds as needed.
• Good vision and attention to detail.
