Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Production Specialist to perform wafer fabrications in a clean room environment, following written specifications. The role includes a training period of 3–4 months on 1st shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.).

Typical duties include operating fab equipment, adhering to safety/OSHA guidelines, and accurately logging operational data. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and 0–2 years’ manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years’ experience in wafer fabrication or manufacturing.
• Ability to work with close supervision and instruction.
• Demonstrates a willingness and aptitude to learn job tasks and procedures.
• Highly motivated and ability to work well with coworkers.

Job Description

The Production Specialist will perform wafer fabrications in the production of semiconductor devices in a clean room environment by following written specifications.

The scheduled working hours for this position are 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, which includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. For this role, there is a training period that lasts approximately 3-4 months, during which you would need to work on 1st shift (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.).

The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $17/HR - $27/HR.*
