Job Description

Production Specialist
Location: 2100 Gardner Expressway, Quincy, IL 62301
Shift: 12-hour shifts on a rotational/swing schedule
Job Type: Full Time
Compensation: $22.35/hour, plus $1.50/hour shift differential for 12-hour rotating/swing shifts

Job Duties

  • Grain and waste handling through scraping, shoveling, and sweeping up soybean product and byproduct
  • Operate equipment throughout the facility which may include tractors with front loaders, skid-steers, manlifts, forklifts, UTVs, etc.
  • Monitor product quality specifications
  • Collect product samples and transport them to the lab
  • Utilize computer systems to input and record data as required regarding safety, sanitation, maintenance, and process equipment operation
  • Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment
  • Monitor and measure tank levels
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures

Requirements

  • 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc. with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work in elevated areas
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or differential shifts

ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.

The pay for this position is expected to be:

$22.35/hour + $1.50/hour shift differential
