Job summary

ADM is hiring a Production Specialist for the 1st shift at 2100 Gardner Expressway, Quincy, IL 62301. You will handle grain and waste, operate tractors, forklifts, and other equipment, and monitor product quality.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 18+ years old, a valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Overtime, safety, and teamwork are emphasized. Background checks will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Grain and waste handling through scraping, shoveling, and sweeping up soybean product and byproduct
• Operate equipment throughout the facility which may include tractors with front loaders, skid-steers, manlifts, forklifts, UTVs, etc.
• Monitor product quality specifications
• Collect product samples and transport them to the lab
• Utilize computer systems to input and record data as required regarding safety, sanitation, maintenance, and process equipment operation
• Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment
• Monitor and measure tank levels
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
