Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to perform physical duties including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to read, understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

  • Grain and waste handling through scraping, shoveling, and sweeping soybean product and byproduct.
  • Operate equipment such as tractors with front loaders, skid-steers, manlifts, forklifts, UTVs.
  • Monitor product quality specifications.
  • Collect product samples and transport them to the lab.
  • Input and record data in computer systems for safety, sanitation, maintenance and equipment operation.
  • Collaborate with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement and teamwork.
  • Monitor and measure tank levels.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

  • 1st Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM, Alternating pattern of days worked including weekends (2-2-3)
  • 2nd Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM, Monday - Friday
  • 3rd Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, Alternating pattern of days worked including weekends (2-2-3)

Compensation

$21.19/hour; plus $0.55 shift differential for 2nd shift or $1.00 shift differential for 3rd shift

Job Duties
  • Grain and waste handling through scraping, shoveling, and sweeping up soybean product and byproduct
  • Operate equipment throughout the facility which may include tractors with front loaders, skid-steers, manlifts, forklifts, UTVs, etc.
  • Monitor product quality specifications
  • Collect product samples and transport them to the lab
  • Utilize computer systems to input and record data as required regarding safety, sanitation, maintenance, and process equipment operation
  • Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment
  • Monitor and measure tank levels
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc. with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work in elevated areas
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or differential shifts
