BCSI is seeking a Production Specialist in Shipping to prepare and package products in a fast-paced setting. You will operate multiple machines to slit, cut, shrink wrap, die cut, pad, fold, collate, staple, and UV coat, ensuring accuracy and quality.

Prepares products for shipping and packages products manually in a fast-paced environment by performing the following duties. Operates various machines to slit, cut, shrink wrap, die cut, pad, fold, collate, staple, score, UV coat. Job requires employees to be proficient in at least 5 processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Machinery assignment will be limited for minors.
You are expected to be reliable and punctual in reporting for scheduled shifts. In the rare instance when you cannot avoid being late or are unable to work as scheduled, you must notify your supervisor as soon as possible in advance of the anticipated tardiness or absence. High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or actively pursing high school diploma.
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement and distance. Ability to read a line gauge in inches, points and picas.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional variables.
