Shift(s) Available: Includes an 8-hour shift rotation or swing schedule (seven-day swing and/or rotational). Must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends, holidays, with advance notice as needed.

Summary
This entry-level position is within a union workforce. You will learn about the facility and department, complete tasks, and seek process improvements. Employees are expected to perform various jobs and can advance to Operator level. Additional duties may be assigned.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain, monitor, and adjust equipment
- Input and record data using computer systems regarding safety, sanitation, maintenance, and equipment operation
- Work in a fast-paced environment completing processes like weighing, bagging, packing, unpacking, labeling, storing products, and sanitizing the facility (sweeping, vacuuming, painting, oiling, greasing, compressed air cleaning)
- Collaborate with peers and management to improve operations and promote teamwork
- Communicate equipment operation, process changes, safety concerns, product quality, and maintenance issues
- Follow ADM's Safety, Environmental, and Food Quality standards aiming for a zero-injury culture
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Attend regularly and maintain attendance records per policy
- Operate equipment related to loadout/unloading, including trucks, rail cars, forklifts, skid steers, scales, pumps, conveyors
- Follow written rules and procedures, produce accurate documentation, and learn other roles as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Effective communication in English (verbal and written)
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in production or military environment (preferred)
On-the-Job Training:
- Complete ADM safety, food safety, quality, and environmental training
- Participate in operational training programs
- Equipment training may include JLG, forklift, non-DOT truck, reach lift, etc.
Working Conditions:
- Ambient, non-air-conditioned environment, with seasonal temperature variations
- Dust, odors from allergens like peanuts, cotton, canola seed
- Noise levels up to or exceeding 85 decibels, requiring hearing protection
- Use of PPE such as uniforms, hardhats, safety glasses, earplugs, gloves, steel-toed shoes, safety harnesses
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move, ascend/descend stairs, bend, kneel, stand, sit, and work in confined spaces
- Operate equipment at various heights, possibly on ladders or scaffolding
- Lift up to 40 pounds frequently, 55 pounds occasionally, and 50 pounds overhead
- Willingness to wear respirators
- Traverse up to two miles during workday
Work Hours:
- Overtime, weekends, holidays, or different shifts with notice
- Shift schedules include 8-hour rotation or swing shifts
