About the Position:
The Production Specialist is responsible for the development/implementation of processes and procedures for Commercial Tire and Service Center (CTSC) manufacturing plants. Their objective is to maximize productivity, improve efficiency, minimize cost and produce the highest quality retread/refinished wheel products in the market. The incumbent must plan, organize and provide plant operational direction, technical service, quality assurance and on-site training for Goodyear CTSC retread/wheel refinishing plants. The Specialist must also perform process/operational troubleshooting, conduct root cause analysis, develop/implement process improvements, perform equipment adjustments/maintenance and provide technical support. The work scope includes not only the plant’s production equipment/processes, but also the business management systems/processes.
