Summary/Objective:

Provide a The Production Operations Specialist is responsible for strengthening production and packaging performance within the CPU. This role acts as the operational subject matter expert for packaging processes, line efficiency, GMP execution, sanitation standards, food safety practices, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings hands-on FMCG or food manufacturing experience and supports SQF readiness, quality objectives, and sustainable operational growth.

Essential Functions

• Supervise daily production and packaging operations to ensure achievement of safety, quality, productivity, and throughput targets.
• Monitor line performance, labor utilization, and operational efficiency, taking proactive action to address production challenges and bottlenecks.
• Lead, coach, and support production teams to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best manufacturing practices.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, sanitation, hygiene, food safety, and quality standards across all production activities.
• Partner with the Quality team to maintain SQF certification readiness and support internal and external audit requirements.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality, food safety, and operational issues.
• Oversee the effective utilization of packaging materials, including corrugated boxes, labels, plastic films, and related consumables, while minimizing waste.
• Support packaging specification management, material standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize costs and efficiency.
• Analyze production data, downtime, waste trends, and key performance metrics to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Implement process improvements that enhance productivity, reduce costs, improve product consistency, and maximize equipment effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Maintenance, and Operations teams to ensure seamless production execution.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing operation.

Required Qualification and Experience

• 3–5+ years of experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging, or a similar production environment.
• Strong working knowledge of GMP, food safety, sanitation, and manufacturing best practices.
• Experience in supporting SQF, HACCP, BRC, or similar quality systems is preferred.
• Good understanding of production workflows, packaging lines, and material specifications.
• Ability to analyze operational performance and recommend practical improvements.)
