Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Manager of Production to lead a team responsible for production planning, staffing, and day-to-day manufacturing operations. This role emphasizes cost-effective processes, budget adherence, and development of leadership within the team.

The successful candidate will drive schedules, coordinate with maintenance and engineering, and lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years of management experience.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, delegate, and manage time effectively.
• Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan production operations for locations, and establish priorities and sequences for products for the department.
• Monitor priority list and schedules to ensure that orders are processed based on priority and customer promise dates are met.
• Prepare operational schedules and coordinate department activities to ensure that production and quality of products meet specifications.
• Monitor and report daily production output and operational status.
• Actively participate in process improvement, modifications, upgrades, and projects.
• Work closely with Maintenance and/or Engineering to plan routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance to maximize equipment availability and production output.
