Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Production Software Engineer to develop product-agnostic software for production teams. You will work with software and production teams to automate, test, and improve efficiency and quality. This role requires hands-on development and collaboration to integrate cutting-edge tech.

The position emphasizes creating scalable software, designing tests, and communicating findings. A US security clearance may be required for access to sensitive programs and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Excellent problem-solving/critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work and communicate collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Drove strategic design of scalable system architecture.
• Familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop product-agnostic software solutions to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
• Design and implement hardware testing strategies and tools.
• Collaborate across multiple teams, especially software and production, to enhance automation.
• Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools.
• Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Provide feedback to design teams for product enhancements.
• Conduct root cause analysis to triage production, product, and process issues.
• Lead system architecture designs of technical initiatives.
