Job summary

Anduril Industries' Imaging team seeks a Production Software Engineer to develop product‑agnostic software for production environments. You will work with production and software teams to improve automation and efficiency, and contribute to testing strategies and tooling.

The role requires a CS/CE/EE background, 3+ years of software experience, and Python proficiency. A U.S. Secret clearance is eligible, with opportunities for advanced hardware integration work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop product‑agnostic software solutions to optimize production efficiency and product quality
• Design and implement hardware testing strategies and tools
• Collaborate across multiple teams, especially software and production, to enhance automation
• Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools
• Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Provide feedback to design teams for product enhancements
• Conduct root cause analysis to triage production, product, and process issues
• Lead system architecture designs of technical initiatives
