Job summary

Intelligent Foods is seeking a Production Lead for its East Coast Distribution Center in Westampton, NJ. The role oversees a 30–50 person production team, ensuring GMPs, food safety and quality standards are followed, while training staff and coordinating with QA and production departments.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, English communication skills, and the ability to work in a refrigerated environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate duties, tasks, policies and procedures to the team members through trainings.
• Ability to plan and prioritize workload, read and follow written and/or verbal instructions accurately in English
• Attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness, and flexibility required
• Intermediate computer skills (i.e. Outlook and other Gmail tools)
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (-9º-42º Fahrenheit) for 8+ hours and in some instances, in a dark environment
• Must be willing and able to work a variety of shifts and overtime as required; even on short notice
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, in group settings, be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production supervisor with training employees in line procedures and safety.
• Enforce SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs at all times.
• Verify order accuracy and control waste.
• Assist with inventory counts and prep/bag accuracy.
• Keep production areas neat to aid inventory counting.
• Collaborate with quality control and production teams.
