Staffmark Group in Dothan, AL is seeking a Sewing Machine Operator to run sewing lines, troubleshoot issues, and meet production quality standards. The role offers a daytime schedule Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:15 PM, with hourly pay between $12.00 and $15.00.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and sewing/machine operation experience, with ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on the floor for extended shifts. Previous production background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewing machine, including changing and rethreading needles.
• Replace bobbins and ensure proper thread placement.
• Conduct machine tests to ensure functionality.
• Use a tape measure, attach labels, and follow quality guidelines.
• Sew sleeves and assemble facing sections.
• Maintain a clean work area and document product construction details.
• Change machine feet and monitor daily production output.
• Inspect parts for quality compliance to ensure high standards.
