Job Description
Summary

Assist in ensuring accurate processing of products across multiple work centers and provide essential information on process records and inventory locations to leadership. Aim to improve throughput efficiency from wax to dock within the plant.

Essential Functions
  1. Manufacturing Process Verification:
  2. Objective: To review process router information accurately to facilitate timely shipments.

    Activities:

  • Communicate daily with planning, sales, and quality departments to ensure product transparency through final processing.
  • Verify that all work orders meet Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
  • Approve products for transportation from the plant to distribution centers.
  • Use part tracking programs to ensure traceability of parts.
  • Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks (LPC specific, certification required).
  1. Safety:
  2. Objective: Demonstrate safe work practices and take responsibility for safety.

    Activities:

  • Follow plant and department safety rules.
  • Operate equipment and tools safely.
  • Report safety issues promptly.
  1. Training:
  2. On-the-job training will be provided.

  1. Additional Plant Assistance:
  2. Support other activities that improve throughput or product quality, including cycle counting for inventory accuracy and assisting drivers and dispatchers with part movement (LPC specific).

Qualifications
  • Experience in shipping departments required; manufacturing shipping experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process routers.
  • Basic understanding of inventory systems, preferably computerized.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions accurately.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
