Job summary

Amcor is seeking a materials planner to provide a well‑planned production schedule for Evansville operations. You will coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Customer Service to identify methods for performance improvements and to maximize machine utilization.

• 2-3 years' experience in materials planning and inventory management preferred or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong PC and analytical skills
• Strong organizational/time management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide a well-planned production schedule across assigned work centers.
• Work with Purchasing, Production, and Customer Service to identify methods for performance improvements.
• Maximize machine efficiencies and maintain inventory levels to meet requirements.
• Monitor inventory control to properly cycle molds and printers.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors to utilize outsourcing as needed.
• Work with Customer Service Representatives to ensure issues are addressed.
• Provide management information regarding capacity and utilization for assigned work centers.
• Maintain and enforce all safety, environmental and department health requirements.
