Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a Production Scheduler/Planner to optimize production schedules and coordinate with procurement, production, engineering, and project management to meet customer demands.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in scheduling, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with ERP/MRP systems. The role involves monitoring progress, reporting performance, and driving improvements to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in production scheduling or related manufacturing roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience using ERP/MRP to manage production plans.
• Able to pass background checks and physical requirements.
• Understanding of production planning, capacity management, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to changes in demand.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure material availability.
• Ensure project kits are available and complete at each stage of the process.
• Communicate schedules with production supervisors and resolve conflicts.
• Develop and maintain detailed production plans and report performance.
• Report deviations to leadership and log downtimes.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and propose improvements.
• Inform Project Management of delays or concerns.
• Weekly summaries of completed, delayed, missed or rescheduled work orders and deviations.
• Support continuous improvement in scheduling and efficiency.
• Maintain schedule adherence reports and create new metrics.
