Job summary

Lockheed Martin in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a Level 2 Production Scheduler to create and maintain production schedules, coordinating with Manufacturing Program Managers and shop teams to meet program requirements. You will coordinate with planning colleagues responsible for items procured or manufactured at the site and collaborate with cross-functional team members to achieve operational excellence.

The role requires SAP, Excel, and Tableau proficiency, plus ERP/MRP experience.

Qualifications

  • Planning/scheduling experience in a manufacturing and/or production setting.
  • Experience working within an ERP/MRP system.
  • Proficient in Excel for data analysis (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, graphs).
  • Ability to perform occasional weekend work as needed.
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.

  • Work with key stakeholders and generate/maintain schedules for assigned scope to provide visibility of required need dates for production requirements.
  • Support release process for make assembly requirements and firm plans in SAP with Manufacturing Program Managers and Enterprise Planning Colleagues.
  • Routinely provide detailed schedule status and support for assigned scope.
  • Maintain data integrity within the SAP ERP/MRP system to ensure metric adherence.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of planning methods, processes and tools.

Join the King of Prussia, PA Enterprise Planning team! We are seeking a detail-oriented Level 2 Production Scheduler to join our team. This is a business-critical role that engages cross-functionally with Manufacturing Program Managers, Shop Management, and other teams to facilitate the successful execution of our program requirements. This role is primarily responsible to create/maintain production schedules, and coordinate with colleagues for timely demand load and procurement process execution. This role will coordinate with planning colleagues responsible for items procured for or manufactured at the site and will collaborate with cross-functional team members to achieve operational excellence. The successful applicant for this role must be comfortable working in several systems including (but not limited to) SAP, Excel, and Tableau.

Responsibilities Include
  • Work with key stakeholders and generate/maintain schedules for for assigned scope inclusive of pre-requisite parts, materials, work instructions, etc to provide visibility of required need dates to support production requirements
  • Support release process for “make” assembly requirements and firm plans in SAP as needed (works closely with Manufacturing Program Managers and Enterprise Planning Colleagues)
  • Routinely provide detailed schedule status and support for assigned scope
  • Maintain data integrity within the SAP ERP/MRP system to ensure adherence to metric requirements
  • Take an active role in continuously improving planning methods, processes and tools
Basic Qualifications
  • Planning/scheduling experience in a manufacturing and/or production setting
  • Experience working within an ERP/MRP system
  • Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookups, graph creation,and/or managing large sets of data
  • Ability to perform occasional weekend work as/if required
  • Must be a US Citizen to be considered and be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
Desired Skills
  • Prefer a Bachelors (or Masters) degree in a discipline related to Planning/Scheduling or Production (Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Finance, Program/Project Management, etc)
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, or other scheduling tools, SAP and/or Open Plan to create or manage the creation and maintenance of manufacturing schedules
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Experience using SAP as a production ERP/MRP system
  • Tableau/Tool management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and cultivate change
  • Demonstrated experience communicating/briefing executives, leaders, and customers
  • Demonstrated experience with end-to-end lifecycle of planning and schedule management in support of program scope capture, implementation and execution
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $67400.00 - $125200.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
