Job summary

LANXESS Deutschland GmbH is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with customer demand, forecasts, and plant capacity. You will coordinate with Production, Procurement, and Customer Service to ensure material availability and on-time fulfillment.

The role requires 5+ years in production planning or related supply chain areas, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel and ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, materials planning, inventory management, or a related supply chain role
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing operational requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems

• Translate demand requirements into executable production schedules while considering equipment availability, labor, campaign requirements, changeovers, and material constraints
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment activities to prevent material shortages
• Balance inventory availability with working-capital objectives and storage limitations
• Serve as a key link between Production, Procurement, Customer Service, Warehousing, Quality, and Supply Chain
