Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC in Evansville, Indiana invites experienced professionals to join our team as a Production Planner. You will develop and manage production schedules to satisfy customer demands while optimizing material flow and machine utilization.

Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, quality, and customer service to implement the best methods for performance improvements. Maintain inventory levels and safety standards across the plant, driving excellence in operations and on-time

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years' experience in materials planning and inventory management preferred or equivalent manufacturing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong PC and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational/time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a well-planned production schedule.
  • Work with all departments to identify best methods for performance improvements.
  • Maximize machine efficiencies, maintain budgeted inventory levels to meet requirements.
  • Monitor inventory control to properly cycle molds and printers.
  • Work with sub-contractors to utilize outsourcing as needed.
  • Work with Customer Service Representatives to ensure all issues are addressed.
  • Provide management information regarding capacity and utilization for assigned work centers.
  • Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and department health requirements.

Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Provide a well-planned production schedule
  • Work with all departments to identify best methods for performance improvements

Authorities
  • Change production schedule to best meet customer requirements, including priority list and weekend schedule
  • Create and delete work orders to meet demand
  • Acknowledge order dates to Customer Service
  • Sub parts list to best utilize inventory consumption
  • Maintain master data for assigned planner items
  • Ensure Not Scheduled time recorded accurately
Qualifications
  • 2-3 year's experience in materials planning and inventory management preferred or equivalent manufacturing experience
