Jobtailor in Colorado is seeking a production scheduling professional to create, optimize, and maintain production schedules using Visual A&D ERP, track project health, and coordinate with Production Planners. Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 5–7 years of manufacturing experience and/or scheduling training.
  • Aerospace experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints for writing manufacturing procedures.
  • Scheduling experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of collaboration at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented; ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Infor Visual experience or comparable ERP preferred.
  • Regular scheduled attendance.
  • Willingness/ability to travel less than 5%.

Responsibilities

  • Create, optimize, and maintain production schedules using the Visual A&D ERP system
  • Develop and generate project health reports using the ERP system and other reporting methods
  • Track project progress, ensuring demand is driven, materials are available, and scheduled appropriately
  • Work with Production Planners on daily and weekly scheduling requirements
  • Partner with planning and manufacturing engineering departments to maintain accurate system lead times
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts within the Scheduling Team and elevate conflicts to the Integrated Scheduling Manager
  • Review project requirements, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate total lead times
  • Attend project kickoff meetings to understand project scope
  • Communicate additional demand requirements to the PM/CSM group
  • Develop and report project performance, status, and applicable KPI metrics
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Maintain regular attendance; position has no supervisory responsibilities

Job description

  • Experience in an aerospace environment preferred
