What you will do!

The Production Scheduler plays a pivotal role in orchestrating and overseeing production schedules, with the overarching goal of maximizing resource utilization, meeting customer demands, and minimizing downtime. This role demands a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, encompassing everything from raw material procurement and inventory management to production line scheduling and finished goods delivery.

Production Scheduling:

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and material availability.
• Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in demand, production capacity, and material availability.
• Coordinate with production, planning, quality, project, engineering to ensure timely and efficient production flow.
• Identify and resolve potential scheduling conflicts and bottlenecks.
• Optimize production sequences to minimize changeover times and maximize throughput.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

• Track and report on key production metrics, such as on-time delivery, production efficiency, and schedule adherence.
• Identify and analyze production variances and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and present regular reports to management on production performance and scheduling effectiveness.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Education And Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in production scheduling/planning within a manufacturing environment.
