Job summary

The role focuses on learning the service process, scheduling for the service department, and coordinating with technicians to ensure timely installations and returns.

Excellent organizational skills and CRM proficiency are required, with 1–3 years of coordination experience.

Position Overview

Sun Protection of Florida is the unrivaled leader in the realm of retractable awnings and motorized sun shades throughout Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Texas. We’re proud to be a part of the Hunter Douglas family of brands. We take immense pride in our fast-moving, customer centric, and detail oriented Customer Success team and are looking to add a Production Scheduler to this rapidly growing department! Schedule: 12 pm - 8 pm ET

What you'll do

• Obtain a thorough understanding of our service process and scheduling techniques
• Effectively set appointments with calendars for our service department utilizing the training and platforms given
• Communicate with customers via phone call, text, email accurately, politely, and with urgency (upholding the SPF 5 Star Customer Experience)
• Manage the Service phone line and Service email inbox
• Set appointments and manage schedules for service technicians
• Audit technician calendars for efficiency and accuracy (times, addresses, etc)
• Gather accurate information via phone or text to gain a clear understanding of customer needs
• Monitor the Return to Customer reports for both Service and Installation to ensure a quick turnaround for second trips
• Assist the Install Coordinators with install returns that could be handled by a service technician, so the team can continue to focus on new revenue on the board
• Work closely with the rest of the Coordination team to prioritize any scheduling that needs to be done
• Maintain a sense of urgency
• Maintain clear, concise communication
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes as SPF grows
• Learn our product enough to be able to assist with troubleshooting
• Work closely with our Service Lead - Provide feedback from customers,Provide feedback on technicians and Work closely to examine how we can better develop our processes/systems
• All other duties as assigned
