This position is for a second shift work hours being from3:30 PM to 12:00 AM., with an initial training period of 3 weeks from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. |
Job Summary
This position will operate the bolt saw and cut threaded rod to specified length while interpretingorders to determine the lengths of bolts needed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Receives and completes boltjob orders.
- Retrieves appropriate bolt material from storage location(s).
- Loads material onto Bolt saw.
- Operates chamfer and stamping machine.
- Notifieslead person of PMI required testing of material before manufacturing/cutting.
- Cuts bolt material to appropriate length using Bolt Saw according to job requirements.
- Ability to read/understand measuring tools such as tape measurer and/or ruler.
- May assemble bolts and nuts using the Bolt Assembly table or by hand.
- Packages bolts to prevent damage during normal handling.
- Lists completed bolt orders in Logbook.
- Delivers materials to Bolt Assembler.
- May use forklift or tow motor to transfer/load materials.
- Has a clear understanding and practice all safety rules and regulations andunderstanding of Quality Policy and Quality System Programs.
- Performs physical count of bolt material.
- Completes proper storageand disposalof scrap/drops.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Experience- 1- 2 years of previous manufacturing experience with the responsibility of running manufacturing equipment.
Physical Requirements- Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull.
- Prolonged periods of standing/walking.
- Works frequently with average weights of 10-50 pounds or continuously with lighter
weights. - Good eye/hand/foot coordination.
- Ability to work in cold, hot and/or dusty environment, with noisy conditions.
- Ability to operate machine tools where time exceeds the handling time.
- Must be able to become forklift certified.
Compensation- Based on Experience $23.00 - $26.00/hour.
