Job summary

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages in Abilene, TX is seeking a sanitation associate to ensure safe, clean and compliant processing equipment. You will follow SOPs, work Monday–Friday afternoons, and help maintain a steady production flow.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, some experience in food manufacturing, and the ability to read MSDS. Forklift certification is a plus, and training will be provided to reinforce best sanitation practices and teamwork with supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; Bachelor’s degree in physical science and/or food industry experience preferred.
• 0–3 years general work experience; experience in food production/manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment; read and understand MSDS; forklift certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior of processing and manufacturing equipment.
• Prepare sanitation chemicals and equipment.
• Ensure all necessary caps are in proper locations.
• Set up equipment in preparation for use by manual lifting and moving equipment/chemicals.
• Assess and rectify problems on all equipment.
• Read, understand and follow standard operating procedures.
• Train new team members
• Communicate with management on daily basis
• Create work orders when needed or assigned by supervisor
• Maintain sanitation supply inventory
• Review daily CIP chart data

Work days/Shift Hours - Monday-Friday 1 PM- Complete

Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $18.36 to $22.07 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
