Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a sanitation associate responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment in our processing area on a Sunday - Thursday shift from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM. Starting pay ranges hourly based on experience, with opportunities for performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

The role requires a high school diploma (or GED) with 0–3 years in food production or manufacturing, ability to operate equipment, read MSDS, and forklift

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred; Bachelor's degree in physical science and/or food industry experience preferred.
• Experience: 0–3 years in food production or manufacturing; ability to operate various equipment; read and understand MSDS; forklift certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior of processing and manufacturing equipment.
• Prepare sanitation chemicals and equipment.
• Ensure caps are in proper locations.
• Set up equipment for use, lifting/moving equipment and/or chemicals.
• Assess and rectify problems on equipment.
• Read, understand, and follow SOPs.
• Train new team members.
• Communicate with management daily.
• Create work orders as needed by supervisor.
• Maintain sanitation supply inventory.
• Review CIP chart data.

Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $_17.82__ to $_22.07__ per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

General Purpose

Responsible for sanitizing various equipment within designated work area.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior of processing and manufacturing equipment.
• Prepare sanitation chemicals and equipment.
• Ensure all necessary caps are in proper locations.
• Set up equipment in preparation for use by manually lifting and moving equipment and/or chemicals.
• Assess and rectify problems on all equipment.
• Read, understand and follow standard operating procedures.
• Train new team members
• Communicate with management on daily basis
• Create work orders when needed or assigned by supervisor
• Maintain sanitation supply inventory
• Review daily CIP chart data

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.Bachelor's degree in physical science and/or food industry experience preferred.
• Experience: 0 - 3 general work experience required. Experience working in food production or manufacturing environment.Ability to operate various equipment.Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets. Forklift certification a plus.
