Job summary

Prairie Farms Dairy Inc. is hiring for a Sanitation - Food Manufacturing role on the 2nd shift in Orrville, OH. You will perform cleaning, sanitation, and basic maintenance of production areas and equipment to ensure product quality and safety.

The position requires adherence to GMPs, ability to lift up to 61 pounds, and comfort working in a wet environment with cleaning chemicals. Overtime and shift flexibility are common, with benefits including 401(k) matching and vacation days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years related experience acceptable.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 61 pounds.
• Experience in dairy/food industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize production equipment and facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance on gaskets, seals, and other surfaces.
• Record cleaning cycle times and chemical concentrations.
• Test and record sanitizer concentrations.
• Document information per SOPs.
• Analyze process and equipment data to troubleshoot quality.
• Follow GMPs and wear required PPE.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Overtime as required.
