Job summary

Balchem in Lincoln, Nebraska, is seeking a Sanitation Specialist to maintain a clean, safe production environment. You will perform routine deep cleaning on equipment and adhere to allergen control and chemical handling procedures.

This role uses PPE, follows strict safety protocols, and operates on a 7:00am-3:00pm shift, five to six days per week, with occasional longer shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training preferred.
• Strong motivation, organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of production and packaging equipment.
• Receive training in PPE use, chemical handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of chemical storage areas and safe barrel replacement.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and participate in ongoing training.
• Adapt to variable shifts and support operational needs.
