Job summary

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read, understand and follow written specifications, blueprints, or schematics.
• Work in a manufacturing plant with noise, extreme temperatures.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk >4 hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment, including high pressure water hoses, to thoroughly cleanse and sanitize production equipment following procedures.
• May disassemble/re-assemble portions of equipment as needed.
• Apply cleaning, degreasing, and sanitizing chemicals; perform hot water wash down for sterilization.
• Shovel and sweep floors, drains, and sewers; collect and dispose of trash.
• Handle equipment and chemicals per safety, GMP, food safety policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with policy.
• Follow safety policies, regulations, and laws; participate in safety training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
