TERREPOWER (formerly BBB Industries) is seeking a Warehouse Repair Associate in Detroit, MI. You will review products to determine materials needed and ensure you have the tools to repair to insurance quality standards.

Responsibilities include grinding, sanding, cleaning, and polishing auto light lenses to restore an Insurance Quality state, maintaining safety and quality controls, and collaborating with team to improve repair methods while upholding a hazard-free warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience in manufacturing or a factory environment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent practical experience.
• Attention to detail and safety-focused work attitude.

What You’ll Be Doing

Skills And Experience

• Warehouse experience of 1 year or more in manufacturing or factory environment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent practical experience.
• Grinding and polishing repair work experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong focus on quality – deeply care about the product and your work.
• High degree of professional credibility, including responsiveness, team focus, and interest and ability to perform work in a safe environment.
• Must be able to concentrate for long periods of time while standing
• Physical ability to access all areas of the facility, withstand various activities such as frequent walking, standing, bending, and maintain manual dexterity to access computer via computer keyboard.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours.
• Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
• Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.
