Qualifications

• Strong expertise in microservices architecture with production experience.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes including deployment management and cluster operations.
• Experience with API gateway platforms such as Azure API Management, Kong, and IBM API Connect.
• Solid experience with observability tooling (Splunk, AppDynamics, Instana) covering logs, metrics, traces, dashboards and alerts.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• Familiarity with SRE best practices including error budgets, SLIs/SLOs, incident response, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support distributed systems in production environments.
• Manage Kubernetes deployments, scaling, upgrades, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements.
• Work with API gateways for traffic management, routing, and observability.
• Leverage observability tools for log analytics, metrics, traces, and alerting.
• Investigate production incidents and drive RCA and preventative actions.
• Apply SRE principles to improve availability and performance.
