Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a hands-on hardware technician to move, power, connect, and test radar systems, ensuring health before moving to the next stage. You will log defects, coordinate replacements with production, and keep units progressing through test with meticulous documentation.

You don’t need radar/RF/software engineering background; you should be methodical, physically capable, and comfortable with hardware, tools, and software interfaces. Training will cover the radar specifics.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics/electrical technology, or equivalent military electronics/avionics training, trade school, or hands-on work experience.
• 2+ years in an electronics manufacturing, test, integration, or equipment-maintenance environment.
• Hands-on comfort assembling, connecting, and disassembling hardware using common hand tools.
• Comfort operating software interfaces to run tests and read status; no coding needed.

Responsibilities

• Move and stage radar systems and safely transport chassis.
• Power up and bring radar online, connect interfaces, and follow procedures.
• Log defects and coordinate replacements with production to keep tests moving.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe test area and proper cable/equipment management.
• Coordinate with engineers and production to avoid blockers and ensure progress.
