Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a hands-on hardware technician to physically move, power, connect, and test radar systems (200+ lb chassis) to ensure components are healthy before shipping. You will log defects, coordinate replacements, and keep the line moving while following strict documentation practices.

The role emphasizes methodical work, reliability, and comfort with hardware, test tools, and software interfaces. Prior radar, RF, or software engineering is not required; we train the radar.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent hands-on electronics experience.
• 2+ years in electronics manufacturing, test, integration or maintenance.
• Able to lift heavy equipment and follow procedures precisely.
• Diligent logging of serials, configurations, tests and defects.

Responsibilities

• Move and stage radar systems and set up in test configuration.
• Power up, bring online and verify system health per procedures.
• Check out peripherals and all interfaces (P2P dishes, network, Starlink, 5G, UPS).
• Operate radar UI and read status; determine pass/fail from test procedures.
• Log defects, coordinate part replacements, keep units moving through test.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized test area and manage cables/E SD.
