Job summary

Figure, an AI robotics company in San Jose, is seeking a Production Quality Technician to oversee on-line quality and coordinate MRB activities on the manufacturing floor.

You will perform in-process inspections, audit assembly lines, input data, generate reports and charts with Quality Engineers, and work closely with line operators to ensure conformance.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment.
• Experience with root cause analysis and CAPA methodologies (8D, 5-Why, fishbone/Ishikawa).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Able to use basic measurement tools such as pin gauges, bore gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• CATIA/CAD proficiency is a plus.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or IATF 16949 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality audit for manufacturing processes
• Perform in-process quality inspections per Quality Instructions
• Take the lead on initiating containment activities for production quality issues
• Study the manufacturing processes and identify potential quality risks
• Participate in Material Review Board activities
