Job summary

LG Chem Ltd Advance Materials in Clarksville, TN is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. You will lead quality management for mass production lines, perform root-cause analysis, manage containment actions, and analyze data to drive improvements.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, review engineering changes, and support process improvements while working in a demanding manufacturing environment with PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing/operations engineering or a technical field.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work multiple shifts, including weekends, and participate in on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Quality Management for Production Lines: Monitor and manage quality performance, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards during production.
• Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage containment actions and escalation for critical quality issues affecting production or customers.
• Review and approve engineering changes, process modifications, and new product introductions from a quality perspective.
