Job summary

ifm efector, inc. in Malvern, PA is seeking an Operations & Quality Coordinator to support customer satisfaction by performing hands-on production assembly and quality activities while coordinating materials, inventory, purchasing, and planning tasks.

The role emphasizes following procedures, inspecting, testing, and documenting, with collaboration across warehouse, purchasing, demand planning, and receiving teams to ensure on-time, compliant builds.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing, assembly, quality control, or inventory coordination.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP/WMS/EWM systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read drawings, work instructions, and quality documents.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures and quality control guidelines to assemble, inspect, test, and document products per specifications.
• Perform light assembly, labeling, packing, and visual quality inspections for production and customer builds.
• Read drawings and work orders to complete customer and inventory builds accurately.
• Verify materials before assembly and maintain production quality records and test results.
• Record product results and communicate nonconforming material to relevant departments for resolution.
• Support receiving and warehouse activities and store approved material correctly.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify materials needed to support production schedules and demand.
• Generate purchase requisitions and purchase orders for components and materials.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Purchasing, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Receiving, and Operations teams on material availability and priorities.
• Identify inventory or process issues and communicate for resolution.
• Assist with continuous improvement projects and other operational tasks.
