Job summary

Online Labels Group is seeking a Production Quality Auditor to monitor quality performance on the production staff by conducting audits at the start of each run and throughout. You will work with the Quality Manager to document and train on QMS changes, identify improvements, and ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, and BSI standards.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, timely reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO, FDA, BSI) is preferred.
• Experience with quality audits and production monitoring.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production of work orders by auditing First Piece Sign Off (FASO).
• Periodically audit in-process production using operator-provided press retains.
• Complete Plant Test Methods (PTM) to ensure product performance meets expectations.
• Identify improvement opportunities for the Quality Manager or Plant Manager.
• Audit electronic art files before submittal to production.
• Assist in developing and implementing QMS documents and training materials.
• Conduct internal auditing of the QMS.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow QMS procedures.

Job description

Overview:

The Production Quality Auditor monitors the quality performance of the production staff by completing quality audits at the beginning of each run and periodically throughout the run. They also work directly with the Quality Manager to identify, mitigate and improve quality performance by documenting and training on procedural changes to the Quality Management System (QMS).

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO,FDA, BSI) is preferred.
• Knowledge of Flexographic and/or digital printing or previous experience as a Quality Auditor is preferred.

Pay: $17.00-20.00/hour based on experience

Shift: Friday, Saturday 6:00pm-6:00am & Sunday 6:00pm-5:30am.

Training: TBD.

What you can expect when you are selected:

• Monitor production of work orders in all production processes by auditing the First Piece Sign Off (FASO) for all work orders and items.
• Periodically audits production of work orders in process by reviewing press retains provided by the operator.
• Completes all required Plant Test Methods (PTM) to ensure product performance meets customer expectations.
• Through observation, offers improvement opportunities to the Quality Manager or Plant Manager.
• Audit electronic art files before submittal to production.
• Assist the Quality Manager in the development and implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) documents.
• Assist the Quality Manager in training topics related to QMS and corrective action.
• Internal auditing of the QMS.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Follow established QMS procedures.
• Complete quality documents to ensure adherence to procedures.
• Adheres to all established safety practices.

• Ability to communicate and work with co-workers effectively.

Physical Demands:
