Job Overview: As the Production Project Manager working for Park Square Homes, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and driving Cadence Construction for the divisions that align all needed resources to meet divisional yearly plans. Continuous communication with Construction and Purchasing teams to assist with identifying shortfalls, opportunities, and process improvements in order to keep production moving forward. Work directly with VP of Construction, Directors, and ACMs to keep production pace by working with purchasing and starts. You are the liaison between Construction and Purchasing departments in order to keep production moving forward and guide adherence to critical milestones from start to completion and assist with addressing production issues if the process falls off track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage starts/releases: Perform weekly reviews that complement the Community Cycle Plan (CCP) and desired production universe to meet the divisional cadence plan.
- Slotting Tool: Slot all homes at sale using slotting methodology to provide forecasted start and closing dates, ensuring predictable alignment across the company.
- Centrally Manage Weekly Starts: Lead weekly starts meetings using 100% Prestart Prism reports to drive predictability, identify delays, and ensure adherence to the start cadence plan, including Frame Starts, Drywall, Cabinets, QC, and Final CO.
- Purchasing Liaison: Collaborate with the Purchasing team to optimize division areas for workload distribution.
- Cycle Time Adherence: Review, develop, and manage Prism schedules to improve cycle time efficiency, ensuring activity sequences are optimal and account for weather delays.
- Construction Liaison: Manage and hold Superintendents accountable for Prism schedule updates.
- Communication: Provide weekly updates to the division on sales slots and production status.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory plans detailing homes in process, completed, in permit, and on shelf for immediate start.
- Meeting Lead: Facilitate weekly production meetings with Construction Directors/ACMs and manage vendor schedule adherence.
- Cycle Time Driver: Offer solutions and recommendations for cycle time improvements.
- Staffing Needs: Review and recommend staffing adjustments to meet community and production needs.
- Trade Partner Awareness: Evaluate and recommend trade partner changes, discipline issues, and capacity needs based on growth.
- Metrics Driven: Provide bi-weekly metrics on start and close flow, schedule adherence, and areas for improvement.

Skills and Competencies:

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years in Superintendent, Project Manager, or Cadence Administrator roles.
- Proficiency in Prism or similar scheduling software.
- Proven leadership in managing contractors, suppliers, and superintendents to improve operational predictability.
- Results-driven with a focus on process improvement and problem-solving.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in an office with occasional site visits.
- Remain stationary up to 50% of the time.
- Lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and computer use.
