Job summary

Elanco, a global leader in animal health, is hiring a Process Technician for our Chengdu site. You will support the production team by maintaining process documentation and ensuring SAP data accuracy to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities include updating specifications, auditing batch records, managing SAP master data (BOMs, recipes, versions), and tracking monthly production metrics. A Bachelor’s degree and at least one year in production tech are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level of experience
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in production technology, manufacturing, or a related field
• Familiarity with GMP manufacturing processes and proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Create and update production process specifications and operating guidelines to ensure alignment with manufacturing processes.
• Audit and sign batch production records and represent the production department for product release.
• Maintain SAP master data, including BOMs, recipes, and production versions, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Track monthly production data (overtime, labor hours, etc.) and manage production department fixed assets.
• Analyze critical material loss and abnormal conditions, providing timely feedback to management for process improvement.

Your Role: Process Technician

As a Process Technician, you will support the production team by maintaining critical process documentation and ensuring SAP data accuracy. In this role, you’ll be responsible for advancing production efficiency through master data management, audit support, and labor budget tracking.

Your Responsibilities:

• Create and update production process specifications and operating guidelines to ensure alignment with manufacturing processes.
• Audit and sign batch production records and represent the production department for product release.
• Maintain SAP master data, including BOMs, recipes, and production versions, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Track monthly production data (overtime, labor hours, etc.) and manage production department fixed assets.
• Analyze critical material loss and abnormal conditions, providing timely feedback to management for process improvement.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level of experience
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in production technology, manufacturing, or a related field
