Job summary

TAC Manufacturing, Inc. in Jackson, MI is seeking a Production Engineering Technician to support daily manufacturing operations by applying engineering principles to improve production efficiency and equipment performance.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance on end-of-arm tooling and water lines, maintain records, and coordinate with maintenance and production teams to drive continuous improvement, safety, and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and keep accurate records.
• Familiarity with robotics, die setting, and tooling tasks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues; repair or replace components.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on End of Arm tooling.
• Maintain records of repairs and preventative actions.
• Complete Change Point Cards for updates to equipment or processes.
• Monitor inventory of replacement parts and notify when reorders are needed.
• Provide backup support with Die Setting and tooling tasks.
• Train with Maintenance and Tool & Die on relevant tasks.
